It’s looking more and more likely than the UK’s X-Factor will be returning later this year with two new judges. The eleventh series of the X-Factor recorded unimpressive ratings last year, with the return of Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Simon Cowell not causing the ratings to soar like they did in the past. ITV & Cowell are in the process of retooling the show, to keep it fresh in the days of flailing reality competitions.
According to my sources, Mel B and Louis Walsh are out; Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Simon Cowell are back for the twelfth series. Louis Walsh appears to be in agreement with my sources, because the Irish manager has claimed DJ Nick Grimshaw is taking his spot on judging panel. It’s a case of trading one tired old queen for another.
I’m hearing Demi Lovato is in line to replace Mel B. If that doesn’t work out, Cowell may stick with three male judges and one female. He has to appease Cheryl now.
After almost a decade of being found irresistible by women completely out of his league, Max Branning actor Jake Wood, 42, has quit the BBC soap to pursue other ventures. Calm down, ladies, the ginger Lothario will be back in a year. Unlike most soap actors that quit, however, Wood’s return in a year is official and planned, not predicted and out of desperation.
I’d quit my job too if I had to put up with Denise van Outen’s husky tones.
I’m hearing this A-list Real Housewife’s daughter is going off the rails a little bit. Apparently the daughter has some deep-rooted issues. More than one ex-boyfriend took note of her close relationship with her father.
Who is our Real Housewife?
Who is our daughter?
Las Vegas resident and former singer Mariah Carey has hit out at the cancelled American Idol. Carey, 45, who infamously judged on the panel for a single season in 2013, told Howard Stern’s clones Kyle and Jackie O the show was “boring and so fake,” implying she fabricated feedback for contestants.
I may not have watched American Idol for years, but Carey really needs to learn a thing or two about class. She took the HUGE pay check ($18mil) and since quitting (see: PR’s version of firing) has done nothing but badmouth the show.
Carey began a Vegas residency at Caesars Palace early in May, which lasts until July 26th.
OK! Magazine and the National Enquirer are both reporting that there’s trouble in paradise for the married stars of Daredevil, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner. The rags claim the couple have ‘secretly separated’ and are ‘headed for divorce.’
Does this surprise anyone if it’s true? She’s insipid and loyal. He’s selfish and deceitful. I think they were a good couple and I do wonder if he’ll go off the rails without her restraints.
Academy Award-nominated actor and multimillionaire Jeremy Renner pulled a move over the weekend that would shame even the most audacious of the homeless alcoholic: he crashed a wedding with seemingly no other objective than to raid the open bar.
Renner, 44, was accused of being the worst wedding crasher ever by TMZ, reportedly refusing to take a picture with the bride and the groom, then splitting fifteen minutes later after he’d downed his free drinks.
Classless move, Jeremy Renner.
The ex-husband of this A-list actress on an extremely A-list television show has some extremely negative things to say about her. He accuses our actress of lesbian affairs, psychopathy and just overall weird behaviour. I’d blame his bitter grapes on the messy divorce, but one of the co-stars of this A-list actress’ extremely A-list television show refuses to ever film with her.
Who is our actress?
Who is our co-star?
Late last year it was quite publicly announced that there would be a continuation of the ABC cult series Twin Peaks, which originally ran from 1990-1991. The return was previously rumoured after a notorious scene in that original’s finale that seemed to hint at a new series in fifteen years.
Well, despite the announcement and in one of the messiest PR situations I’ve seen, series creator and legendary director David Lynch soon exited the continuation, citing “complications” (pay dispute).
That nasty business is over with now and the series is confirmed to be returning in 2016 on Showtime with Lynch to return and direct even more episodes than originally planned.
Wanna bet Lynch got everything he asked for and more in this situation? I bet Showtime fired some publicists after that mess.
Real Housewife and skeleton impersonator Bethenny Frankel, 44, broke down in tears on the most recent episode of Real Housewife of New York. No, the tears had nothing to do with the deplorable ratings (which are so, so, so bad that I’m hearing a reboot or cancellation is impending) but her daughter Bryn, 4, who Frankel feels is stuck in the middle of her divorce battle with estranged husband, Jason Hoppy.
“She’s going through a hard time,” Bethenny tearfully tells Carole Radziwill. Not as hard a time as Bethenny I imagine, as Frankel was recently ordered to pay Hoppy’s legal fees in notoriously difficult divorce case.
I have no sympathy for Frankel, who has become a rich bitch on wheels that is so obviously trying to milk RHONY viewers (all three of us) for sympathy in her divorce case. Manipulative shrew.
This actress could be considered B-list, maybe A-list in her prime with some spin. She consistently managed to find decent work throughout the eighties and the nineties in the primetime field, but what you don’t know about her is she is an unbelievably negligent parent.
Some people just aren’t made to be parents and this actress is one of them. She would deliberately take bad work to avoid spending time at home with her offspring. One of her ex-husbands calls her a selfish person that needs her alone time more than anything else. Relations of the actress are in constant fear for her life because of her addictions.
