There’ll be less Luscious Lyons in the second season of Empire, according to Page Six. Fox’s freshman drama will ‘scale back’ on the anti-hero and Taraji P. Henson’s role as Cookie will be pushed to the forefront.
The reason for the Terrence Howard reduction is simply his messy private life, alleges the source. Howard has been plagued by rumours of domestic abuse, affairs and is currently involved in a bitter divorce battle with his ex-wife.
Fox have denied Page Six’s in a statement: ““Rumors that Terrence’s role in ‘Empire’ will be scaled back are patently untrue.”
Empire returns in September for its second season.
Sad. I love Empire.
