The divorce may be off for Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner. The superstar couple are said to be in the midst of repairing old wounds after the highly controversial nannygate, even going as far as attending church together with their children as a family to collectively heal, according to a source close to the couple over at E! News. “On the weekends they spend a lot of family time together with outings to the farmers market and church,” the source says.
Affleck and Garner announced their long-rumoured separation in June after rumours of affairs and drug and alcohol abuse. “There was a lot of tension between them for a while, but it wasn’t all about the nanny,” the source expands to E! News.
Two months after the nannygate scandal initially broke, Garner, 43, is still trying to forgive Affleck, 43. “She is pleased the story has died down and her kids don’t have to hear about it,” the source says. “She really just wanted it to go away as fast as possible. Behind closed doors she is dealing with her own personal feelings and how to process what happened.”
Affleck and Garner have three children together and have been married since 2005.
