This suddenly A-list actress is underwhelming test audiences with her performance in a highly anticipated movie. She’s just sorely lacking charisma, they tell me. I can’t wait to read the reviews.
Who is she?
What is our film?
Lupita Nyong’o
We thought this one would be a lot more obvious than it was, but while some guessed the movie – none guessed the actress. Academy Award winning and suddenly A-list actress (12 Years a Slave was her first project of note and she won an Oscar) Lupita has had her part drastically cut from the upcoming Star Wars. The spin is Lupita struggled with motion capture (what?), but the truth is the studio test audience was underwhelmed by her performance as a pirate. I was hoping her part wouldn’t be cut and the reviews would be brutal, but alas…
I thought of her, but I thought “suddenly A-list” would mean recently.
You sneaky JEW bastards.

This doesn’t surprise me. Her Broadway turn isn’t that good either. She’s proving to be more a celebrity than a skilled, talented actress. And she’s enjoying calling the paps when she arrives to her NYC theatre rehearsals. I’ve heard she has them called everyday because of the agreements she has with designers and stylist to show all those outfits that are obviously, carefully planned and styled for her daily pap stroll. Another little hint: the guy producing the play is spoiling her like a queen. Maybe more than just the producer?

Broadway tends to expose the weaknesses of all actresses.
I agree with you. She’s constantly calling the paps.

Broadway tends to expose the weaknesses of all ACTORS, gender is irrelevant. Last example? Bruce Willis. Another one you wouldn’t expect? Al Pacino.

I’m with you there. Rarely do actors (male or female) look good on the stage. Kidman shocked me. She was really good.

Daisey Ridley still appears quite wooden from trailers and teaser scenes. This is perhaps an “either/or” blind item.
