It’s been long rumoured, but Deadline are confirming that Naomi Watts has signed-up for a role on Showtime’s reboot of David Lynch’s Twin Peaks. Watts’ big break was in the David Lynch mystery thriller Mulholland Drive.

No word on who Watts’ character or how many episodes she will be featured in as of yet. Other new faces joining her to the Showtime series are Jennifer Jason Leigh, Tom Sizemore and Amanda Seyfried.
