This A-list director is in the midst of deciding on his next picture. He’s stuck between two options: 1. A genre that he’s never done before that’ll really surprise people. 2. A sequel to a much loved franchise. Either way, it’s going to be very interesting for film fans.
Who is the director?

It sounds like some artsy type. Could it be Doug Liman thinking about returning to Bourne? He’s had a crazy career, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he was considering doing something completely new. He’s done superheroes before, though, so I’m not sure what that could be. Also, Doug Liman isn’t really A-list, is he? Not sure.

Spielberg has already been announced as doing the next Indiana Jones. Fincher is directing that tv show about serial killers (big surprise). Is Tarantino’s Kill Bill franchise “beloved”? Could be him.

Martin Scorcese doing a comedy? It says they’re doing a genre they haven’t done before. I think it would surprise me if Marty did a slapstick style comedy.

Scorcese yet did comedies like Wolf Of Wall Street or The King Of Comedy

I’m talking something like Anchor Man or something like that. Wolf of Wall Street had drama in it too. The King of Comedy was just a depressing crazy guy & wasn’t all that funny.
