TGL Round-Up: The Walking Dead Creator Threatened to Kill Crew, Kid Rock Announces Senate Run
The Walking Dead creator Frank Darabont threatened to kill his crew in shocking emails released in his $280 million lawsuit against the cable network, AMC.
Darabont — a co-creator and executive producer — was fired from the hit AMC zombie show in 2011, causing him to launch the aforementioned ongoing $280 million lawsuit against AMC.
The network Thursday filed a summary judgement motion in support of their case of firing the director and released the emails as evidence.
“YOU NEED TO PAY ATTENTION TO THE MOTHERF—KING SCRIPT!” he wrote in one of the emails from between 2010-2011. “I EVEN CHOOSE MY GODDMAN COMMAS FOR A REASON! WHY AM I WORKING SO F—KING HARD IF YOU’RE SHOOTING EVERYTHING SOME OTHER WAY THAT DOESN’T WORK?”
Darabont also threatened to murder crew members.
“Everybody, especially our directors, better wake the f–k up and pay attention,” he wrote. “Or I will start killing people and throwing bodies out the door.”
Kid Rock has announced plans to run for the Senate.
The rocker has tweeted out several images and videos relating to the planned run, and even launched a website (kidrockforsenate.com).
Rock, who is a registered Republican, is believed to be running against three-time Michigan senator Debbie Stabenow when her most recent term is up in 2018.
