Daily Blind Item — Not Playing Ball

This retired baseball player might be a living legend, but that doesn’t mean he’ll play ball when it comes to autographs and selfies. Several sources have told me over the years that [name omitted] is one of the most difficult celebrities to get a signature from and is known to reject selfie requests from kids and fans alike.

People have speculated that he’s a gigantic asshole since his rise to fame, but it’s always nice to have confirmation.

So, tell me, Gossipers:

Who is our living legend?

Several actresses, believed friends and secret enemies, are targeted during the wild rant, which would be sure to create about a billion TMZ and Daily Mail articles and possibly mean war between the actress and her so called friends.

No idea if the audio has been snapped up by the actress or a member of her team, but it wasn’t available for purchase when we enquired.

So, tell me, Gossipers:

Blind Item Revealed — Maisie Williams & Sophie Turner

This B-list actress in on one of the biggest shows in the world, but whilst her B-list co-star is being offered tons of high profile and high paying roles, our less traditionally attractive B-list actress is struggling to find high calibre work outside of it. With the show winding down, her team’s nervous about the future. She’s never really liked the way she looked, so she’s considering seeing a doctor for some plastic surgery. She’s only 18 / 19.

Who is our actress?

The Story: Maisie Williams Thinks Her Looks Keep Her from Roles: ‘It’s a Very Shallow Industry’

Admittedly it’s one of the most obvious blind items that I’ve been guilty of posting, but what can I say? The truth is the truth and when it comes in, I try to deliver it to you.

Maisie Williams recently slammed Hollywood beauty standards, claiming they keep her from gaining roles.

In a recent interview with The Irish Times, the Arya Stark actress, 20, called out the industry for only portraying one traditional type of a “beautiful woman”, which she admits concerns her when it comes to getting future roles in film and television.

“It’s only now I’m starting to realise the characters that are available to me because of the way I look and the characters that aren’t available to me,” Williams said. “It’s a very shallow industry.”

I don’t want to call BS on what she is saying, but this is definitely not a new realisation of hers.

At the time I reported on this, Williams was newly 18 and the source told me was considering plastic surgery, feeling that it would help her chances as succeeding as an actress after her hit show HBO’s Game of Thrones went off the air. Her co-star and on-screen sister Sophie Turner had just landed one of the sought after parts in Hollywood, the role of Jean Grey in the X-Men series, beating out Academy Award-nominee Saoirse Ronan and Chloe Grace Moretz.

Ultimately Williams decided against plastic surgery.
