This B-list actress in on one of the biggest shows in the world, but whilst her B-list co-star is being offered tons of high profile and high paying roles, our less traditionally attractive B-list actress is struggling to find high calibre work outside of it. With the show winding down, her team’s nervous about the future. She’s never really liked the way she looked, so she’s considering seeing a doctor for some plastic surgery. She’s only 18 / 19.

The Story: Maisie Williams Thinks Her Looks Keep Her from Roles: ‘It’s a Very Shallow Industry’
Admittedly it’s one of the most obvious blind items that I’ve been guilty of posting, but what can I say? The truth is the truth and when it comes in, I try to deliver it to you.
Maisie Williams recently slammed Hollywood beauty standards, claiming they keep her from gaining roles.
In a recent interview with The Irish Times, the Arya Stark actress, 20, called out the industry for only portraying one traditional type of a “beautiful woman”, which she admits concerns her when it comes to getting future roles in film and television.
“It’s only now I’m starting to realise the characters that are available to me because of the way I look and the characters that aren’t available to me,” Williams said. “It’s a very shallow industry.”
I don’t want to call BS on what she is saying, but this is definitely not a new realisation of hers.
At the time I reported on this, Williams was newly 18 and the source told me was considering plastic surgery, feeling that it would help her chances as succeeding as an actress after her hit show HBO’s Game of Thrones went off the air. Her co-star and on-screen sister Sophie Turner had just landed one of the sought after parts in Hollywood, the role of Jean Grey in the X-Men series, beating out Academy Award-nominee Saoirse Ronan and Chloe Grace Moretz.
Ultimately Williams decided against plastic surgery.
