After eight years of marriage and thirteen years of dating, Fergie and Josh Duhamel have announced they are going their separate ways, as first reported by People.
On Thursday the couple released a statement to ET Canada confirming their split.
“With absolute love and respect we decided to separate as a couple earlier this year,” the joint statement reads. “To give our family the best opportunity to adjust, we wanted to keep this a private matter before sharing it with the public. We are and will always be united in our support of each other and our family.”
The couple, who celebrated their eighth anniversary in January, share a 4-year-old son, Axl Jack.
Jennifer Lawrence has admitted she doesn’t find motherhood all that appealing.
In a recent interview with E! News, Lawrence was whether she was feeling the pangs of motherhood, Lawrence replied: “Not at all. They are actually getting less and less as I get older, which is starting to worry me. I don’t think that’s how it’s supposed to work!”
Lawrence has been dating director Darren Aronofsky for a year.
It has arrived and by that I could only mean the actual movie, It, based on the novel by Stephen King and, of course, the original miniseries released in 1990 and starring Tim Curry as the iconic Pennywise clown.
Buzz is through for the roof for the remake with trades predicting a record-breaking weekend for movie, which is intended to kickstart a new franchise for Warner Bros. I’m going to try and be conservative and tip It for a super $75 million over the weekend.
If It meets my prediction that means the movie will break a record and become the largest grossing opening weekend for an R-Rated horror movie, beating Paranormal Activity 3.
That’s more than enough to wash away the foul memories of the box office disaster that was August.
Elsewhere, Open Road Fims’ Home Again, starring Reese Witherspoon, offers non-It fans a nice alternative and I’m estimating the small budgeted romantic comedy for a decent $10 million.
The Hitman’s Bodyguard and Wind River should each add $6 million and $4 million respectively.
Last Year: Tom Hanks’ Sully premiered to $35 million.
Next Week: Jennifer Lawrence stars in Darren Aronofsky’s Mother!
Selena Gomez has joined the cast of Woody Allen’s new movie, the filmmaker has announced.

After the show ended, he joined the cast backstage to offer his congratulations.
“As actors, I can’t respect enough how disciplined you are and how serving you are of the process,” he said. “There’s nothing worse than seeing someone that’s out for themselves. And you are all in it for each other.”
Murray starred in the movie in which the show is based.
Jennifer Lawrence is talking about her secretive relationship with the director Darren Aronofsky in a new interview with Vogue.
“We had energy,” Lawrence says of meeting Aronofsky on the set of their upcoming film mother!, which he directed and she stars in. “I had energy for him. I don’t know how he felt about me.”
