It probably goes without saying that UFC megastar Conor McGregor is a bit of a dick and usually I wouldn’t bat an eyelid at his various “dickish” antics, but the Irish fighter has crossed a line in spectacular fashion.
Not only did McGregor, 29 and acting 12, fly his gang of gypsies in his private plane to the UFC 223 Media Day at the Barclays Centre in New York and attack the UFC bus that housed many of the company’s top stars, but McGregor successfully injured co-worker Michael Chiesa, causing a hospitalisation and forcing Chiesa to pull out of an upcoming fight for medical reasons.
McGregor, who was targeting rival Khabib Nurmagomedov with his assault, injured one of the few UFC fighters that he has never had a public altercation with. Great going, Con.
It goes without saying that McGregor was arrested and charged with three counts of assault and one count of criminal mischief, and subsequently released on $50,000 bail. Small change for the man that made $100,000,000 million off of a recent boxing match with Floyd Mayweather. What probably hurts the controversial spitfire the most, however, is UFC boss Dana White stripped him of his coveted Lightweight Championship shortly after.
Apparently several lawsuits are brewing against McGregor with many on the bus citing damages of lost income; Ray Borg and Michael Chiesa were both pulled from UFC 223 due to glass-related injuries sustained from McGregor’s actions, and others on the bus such as Rose Namajunas were reportedly “traumatised” by the incident.
Since McGregor has failed to apologise for his part in the melee and is rumoured to be using the situation to drum up interest in a fight with Khabib, we have to punish Conor in the one way we know how — Conor McGregor, you are our dick of the day.

We don’t get a lot of wrestling scoops, but when we do (Goldberg etc) they’re usually on the money.
This A list athlete is close to signing a contract with the WWE to wrestle matches in the near future.
‘It should be great publicity for all parties,’ we’re told. ‘The WWE are cashing is on [name omitted]’s mainstream appeal.’
So, tell me, Gossipers:

The Story: Ronda Rousey Signs With WWE
Popular Guesses: Paige VanZant / Conor McGregor / Ronda Rousey
The wrestling industry’s most reputable reporter, Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer, has called the securing of Ronda Rousey the WWE’s most high profile in years and claimed the main reason for the signing is due to the company hoping to get one of their on-screen characters, Stephanie McMahon, mainstream attention.
I thank Meltzer for confirming my blind item, but there’s more…
As I told you back in September, the signing is mainly because the WWE are hoping to “cash in” on Rousey’s considerable star power, but it isn’t just because they want to get one of their on-screen characters some mainstream attention (although I was told that is partially the reason), another reason is the WWE’s upcoming talks over television rights and the company’s desire to attract as much attention and buzz as possible going to the negotiating table with what I’m told is more than just one television network.
Rousey has reportedly signed a contract for multiple years and will be a full time performer, wrestling multiple matches (as I told you) and not just the one WrestleMania match like was expected.
Orlando Bloom has agreed to star up in Carnival Row for Amazon.
Carnival Row will feature mythical creatures who have fled their war-torn homeland and gathered in the city as tensions are simmering between citizens and the growing immigrant population. At the centre of the drama is the investigation of a string of unsolved murders, which are eating away at whatever uneasy peace still exists.
In the series, Bloom will play the lead role of Rycroft Philostrate, a police inspector investigating the murder of a faerie showgirl.
Travis Beacham penned the original script, A Killing on Carnival Row.
UFC Star Ronda Rousey won’t be watching the Notorious Conor McGregor face off against Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather on Sunday, Dana White has revealed.
“Ronda Rousey gets married tomorrow. Tomorrow is her wedding,” White revealed on The Rich Eisen Show on Friday. “And she’s in a good place, she’s really happy, and she hasn’t announced her retirement or anything like that. She’s focusing on this wedding.”
Rousey announced her engagement in April to fellow UFC fighter Travis Browne.
Bill Nye the Science Guy alleges that Disney has withheld $28 million in profits from distribution of the show.
According to the suit, Nye became suspicious in 2008, when Disney informed him that he owed the company nearly $500,000 due to an “accounting error.”

A decision has been made to slowly phase this A-list fighter out of the company. Their heart is no longer in the game and the hierarchy knows it.
Who is the A-list fighter?
Conor McGregor of UFC
Blind Posting: February 15th 2016
I guess this story has broken in a big way. Conor McGregor has announced his retirement from mixed martial arts last night on Twitter, stunning the fighting world. The truth of the matter is McGregor’s heart was no longer in the game, as we said. He lost his motivation for it and UFC knew it. A tell-tale sign was his considerable weight gain before his most recent bout. It set off warning signs in the UFC hierarchy and they figured things were wrong.
McGregor suffered his first loss within the company to Nate Diaz, a fighter he really was expected to beat, last month.
